Jess and Evan's Moab Birthday

The past month for Jess at work has been insane to say the least so he was especially stoked on this little trip outta town. With no time to spare, we packed up in just under an hour and headed to southern Utah... 

Kim and I planned a quick weekend trip to Moab for a Evan and Jess' joint birthday celebration and it did not disappoint. Moab is the most magical and getting to spend time there with some of my favorite people made it that much better. Our first night was car camping at Kim's special spot that overlooks Canyonlands National Park and the second night glamping was at Moab Under Canvas.

Sometimes you need a little reminder that making memories with people you love should always be high on your to-do list...

Rachael's Zion Birthday

One of my best frands Rachael of Lace and Likes celebrated her 29th birthday in Zion National Park with a few of her favorite humans. What's rad about Zion is that it's kind of centrally located for most of our frand group. Jess, Evan, Kim, and I drove down from SLC; Kasia, Kate, Whitney, Keith, Linda and even the very pregnant (yet incredibly stunning) Alex came through California. We stayed at a phenomenal home called True North and is actually located INSIDE Zion National Park. Hank runs this joint and he's as sweet as sweet can be. SIDE NOTE: THEY HAVE A HOT TUB THAT OVERLOOKS ZION NATIONAL PARK. Insanity. 

Keith was gracious enough to organize a winter hike through the Narrows. We rented all of our gear (dry suits, dry bags, shoes, socks, etc.) from Zion Adventure Company - which was awesome since it made the river hike rul cozy and comfy.

And Rach...happiest birthday, my dear babe. Your heart is as beautiful as you are and you make us all better by knowing you.
